About "Milk Glass"

The milk glass is a popular material during the mid 1900s. Nowadays, only few factories in the world are able to manufacture milk glass glassware.

The fine lines that appear on the surface of the mug are caused by the temperature difference between the time the molten glass is poured into the metal mold and the time the craftsman presses it, and are a characteristic of handmade products.

While these are not heat-resistant glass, it is fine to pour hot liquid inside.
Please watch out for sudden temperature changes, such as pouring boiling hot tea into a cold refrigerated mug, as that may shatter the mug and hurt the user.
Please do not microwave.
